I just returned from a trip to Africa and once again I am reminded of why we must keep in touch with our missionary wives and don’t let ourselves forget them. Bro. Scott Kuzel is a busy missionary and gone much of the time. Yet, at home he leaves a faithful wife to keep the home, home school their daughter, cook and prepare meals ahead for “unexpected” visitors that her husband may bring home for dinner.
She must prepare to teach a women’s Bible study, prepare for Sunday School in the village and just be the keeper of the home.
Most of this is done while her husband is gone from the home.
Sometimes she gets lonely for adult conversation. When you have a talkative six year old, a woman longs for “intelligent” conversation that is more stimulating. Her days are filled with dealing with childish interests….such as cleaning the goldfish bowl…
And listening to piano practicing…
A woman’s work is never done….even in Africa. Our missionaries love to hear a word from home on a regular basis. In your day….take some time to pray for the wives of the men who are along side their husband. Pray that they will have a reprieve from loneliness. Pray that they will be strengthened by the Lord in their soul and spirit. Ask the Lord to use you …to be a blessing.

What a treat that would be to have tea
with you and Alayna - I could go for the pawpaws and yogurt too- and I would want to try some homemade rusk, even if I have no idea what it is, just sounds like a crispy cruchy type of bread, or goodie - I love crunchy toast,my hubby wonders why I like burnt toast! not really burned,just crispy!!!
