Blessing My Teacher

Written by Scott Kuzel, Missionary to South Africa

>Missionaries must home school their children and this missionary to South Africa found a way to honor his child's teacher…who just happened to be his wife, in a special way!

Daddy and his daughter Alayna put their heads together to figure out a way to honor "Mommy" for her teaching.

Daddy and Alayna gave a specially ordered gift to Alayna's teacher…."Mommy"!"  In Swaziland, there is a glass factory where custom made glass works are crafted.  It is fascinating to watch the glass artisans fashion so many different things out of molten glass.

During one of my trips to Swaziland, I stopped at the factory to ask if they would make an apple and engrave a message that said, "The World's Best Teacher-my Mommy, Love Alayna"

They did this for me!  We presented Mommy with the gift at the Tea Parlor.

She was very surprised!  Daddy and Mommy enjoyed some coffee and lemon meringue pie.
