Hello From Australia!
We arrived back in Australia for our 2nd term on January 1st. We were greeted at the airport by our wonderful church family and friends. It was a great reunion! We returned with a new addition to our family. Our son J.J. (Johnathan Jr.) was born in May, in Oklahoma.
Our daughter just celebrated her 3rd birthday and our new son is now 9 months old!
We are enjoying getting back into the swing of things. We had two first time visitors at church recently, so we praise the Lord for that. My husband has been challenging us with memorizing more Scripture. We have a new Scripture verse each week. I think it has been really great for our little church. Everyone has said their verse each week, which has been exciting to see everyone's participation. We have started our youth groups again, which we have twice a month.
We have also moved into our new house, which we thank the Lord for! The Lord has taken care of each of our needs and some of our wants too. Praise the Lord.
I would like to do a little bragging on the Lord, when we arrived back here, there were a few needs we needed to have met. First, our fridge stopped working, but a family in our church had two fridges and they have allowed us to use one until ours is fixed. Our fridge is still under warranty.
Blessing # 2: We also needed to purchase a bed for our daughter Whitney, and in the house we moved into, someone had left a bunk bed in the shed. The Realtor said we could have it, if we wanted it. So my husband was able to put it together. The only thing he needed to buy for it, were some bolts!
The Lord met another need through our precious friends and the Thompsons, a family in our church, are letting us borrow an extra mattress that they have!
God is so good and we praise Him for it! He is always there for us, providing for us.
Thank you for letting me pop in for 'just a minute' to tell you our blessings!
Because He Lives,
